Investor interest in drones sky high amid increasing activity in data collection

Growing demand for data and new connectivity strategies are helping to drive an influx of capital into the market for drone technology. UK-based VC fund Seraphim Capital found that data collection - comprising drones and satellite constellations - generated US$868m in investment flow for Q3 2018, the second-most-active sector in its Global Space Index.
