Intelsat to use EPOCH IPS from Kratos ISI to operate the Intelsat 27

Intelsat has exercised an option to have Kratos Integral Systems International, extend its EPOCH Integrated Product Suite (IPS)-based Fleet Control System to operate the Intelsat 27 satellite, which is currently under construction. Intelsat 27 is the third of the Boeing 702MP series of 702 satellites and the 26th Boeing 702 to be supported by EPOCH. This option was exercised based on Kratos ISI's outstanding performance in delivering the required EPOCH IPS capability for Intelsat to operate its other two 702MP satellites, Intelsat 21 and Intelsat 22, on a short schedule.
