A variety of factors make the topic of employment discrimination against Hispanic individuals of paramount importance: changes in the labor force participation rates, concentration of Hispanics in various industry sectors that are labor-intensive, increased perceptions of discrimination, and the complexity of research on employment discrimination. The purpose of this study is to examine the nature of employment discrimination of Hispanics. It seeks to answer the question of what affects the outcomes of the litigation and how should employers respond. This is important for organizations in that litigation is costly and has a negative effect on employee morale.
