Tankers can be good movers

Rolls-Royce's Azipull azimuth thruster saw its first application in ferry propulsion in 2004; now other markets are taking note of its benefits. More than 100 of them are in service or on order as the main propulsion unit for offshore service vessels. Product tankers, gas carriers and passenger vessels all want a piece of the azimuth action.
