Asia aims to meet crewing challenge

Differing strategies for dealing with lower manning, competency and alertness levels were emphasised at the three-day Sea Asia 2009 exhibition-cum-conference held in Singapore in April. A special Crewing Challenge seminar took place during the conference, which was organised by Seatrade and the Singapore Maritime Foundation and backed by the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore.
