Security category for SASI Awards

A new Security category has been announced for the 2010 Safety at Sea International Awards, which form part of the 2010 SASI International Lecture and Awards Dinner in June. Until now, four categories have been available: Equipment, Systems, Training, and Management/Operations. The new category will apply to any security-related development brought to market for the first time, or substantially improved and relaunched, in 2009. Entries should demonstrate an innovative and original development that has the potential tornimprove security on board and ashore.
