Vizada's new Xchange policy

A new maritime communications system for operators and crew was unveiled by satellite-communications provider Vizada at Nor-Shipping in May. The Vizada Xchange platform connects onboard IT systems with a shipping company's own network. It also promises seafarers greater onboard internet connectivity and access to more entertainment, the company's products director, Patrick Decool, said at the product launch. He added that the platform aims to make the crew's life easier.
