Australian couple missing from cruise ship

Australia is investigating the disappearance of a couple who went overboard from cruise ship Carnival Spirit off the New South Wales coast. CCTV footage from the ship shows Kristen Schroder, 27, and her boyfriend Paul Rossington, 30, disappear one after the other over the side from mid-deck at about 20.50 on 8 May. The footage shows Schroder climbing over the railing and standing on the other side of it as she faced out towards the sea. Police did not reveal how long she was standing there and were unable to determine if she jumped or fell.
