The election of Jorge Mario Bergoglio as pope on 13 March owed a little something to the sea. One of the other cardinals to enter the conclave was Antonio Maria Veglio, who has the impressive title of President of the Pontifical Council for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People.
