Bodies of two more crew members from a ship that sank as Typhoon Hagibis tore through Japan's mainland have been recovered. The Japan Coast Guard said on 15 October 2019 that the bodies were found late in the night of 14 October. One body was found in the sunken Jia De, a 2002-built 3,336 dwt Panama-flagged general cargo ship, while the other body was found in Tokyo Bay. The ship, operated by Realshipping Int'l Shipping Corporation of Hong Kong, was anchored in Higashi Ogishima Pier in Kawasaki Port when it was hit by strong winds at about 21:40 h local time on 12 October. The ship was at anchorage in Kawasaki port at the time of writing, according to IHS Markit's AISLive Ship Tracking portal. With wind speeds of 225 km per hour, Typhoon Hagibis produced Japan's worst typhoon-related damage in more than 60 years. The discovery of the two bodies leaves just one crew member missing from Jia De.
