With the introduction of the EU Noise at Work Directive earlier this year, employers now have to monitor staff exposure to noise in the workplace very carefully, or risk heavy fines. Masoud Ahmadi explains that educating both employer and employees about the dangers of noise exposure and acoustic shock is the first step towards a safer, quieter workplace.
