Occupational stress continues to take up much court time, with another case making its way to the Court of Appeal: Mark Hone v Six Continents Retail Ltd [2005] EWCA Civ 922. Mr Hone was employed as a licensed house manager and complained that his excessive workload had caused him to suffer stress and psychiatric illness. During a meeting in April 2005 Mr Hone informed his employer that he was working excessively long hours and was tired.
