Cancer findings published

Almost 5 per cent of all deaths from cancer in Britain can be attributed to occupational exposure. This is among the initial findings of the HSE's interim report on occupational cancer, which estimates the number of deaths attributable to occupational exposure in 2004 at 6259 for men, and 1058 for women - giving a total of 7317.
