Most people are aware that fire can spread quickly. Less commonly known is the role that fire risk assessment can play in reducing the risk of possible causes of fire, and in helping to protect people and premises if a fire does occur.rnABBE, The Awarding Body for the Built Environment, has launched its unique new Level 3 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment, which enables practitioners to undertake fire risk assessments of a range of premises, including offices, theatres and shops.rnThe qualification has been developed in response to the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, which places the responsibility for undertaking fire risk assessments on to business owners and managers.
