'Basic psychology for occupational safety and health' is a new continuing professional development (CPD) course for health and safety professionals and managers who want to understand the psychological foundations of personality, motivation and intelligence. The course takes place on 30 April 2009 at the Grange. Tony Boyle, a consultant specialising in risk assessment, human factors and health and safety management systems will be running the course. He has extensive consultancy and training experience in the UK and abroad, and is the author of IOSH's book, Health & Safety Risk Management, which covers risk management and human-factors material required for the NEBOSH diploma and undergraduate degrees.
