Optical Express is now affiliated with ASE Corporate Eyecare Ltd's network of opticians. ASE provides VDU and safety eyecare for companies in the UK via a system managed by an online portal, which is described as hassle-free, cost-effective, and doesn't limit employees' choice of optician to just one chain. ASE says the addition of all 187 Optical Express stores takes its total number of affiliated opticians to in excess of 2000 - one third of all UK opticians and more than four times the national coverage of the largest UK chain of opticians. Eye-care specialist Optical Express is staffed by professional opticians with access to the latest technological developments. Its fully-trained opticians carry out thousands of eye tests each week, while the company also provides laser eye-surgery.
