Discrimination and occupational health are regularly at the crossroads of health and safety and employment management. All too often, the legal, management and communication requirements prove to be beyond both employer and staff. Discrimination law, notably disability discrimination, is one of the most complex areas that management professionals encounter, yet understanding the interplay with health and safety law and practice can help organisations manage these issues better, and reduce liabilities.
