Review puts HSE in the spotlight

Last month saw the long-awaited publication of the first triennial review of the Health and Safety Executive. Having carried out an independent assessment of the HSE's function, form and governance, Martin Temple's report drew some interesting conclusions and recommendations. We explore these in more detail on page 8. On the whole, it's fair to say that the review offers a positive endorsement of the UK's national, independent regulator for work-related safety and health.
