摘要

The potential of the method for unification of the relative units for measuring the concentration of V(IV)and free radicals in crude oils and asphaltenes was examined.Studies of the macromolecular components of crude oils,natural bitumens,and other oil-like systems are necessary for solving a complex of problems in extraction,preparation,transportation,and processing of oil raw materials.Macromolecular components of oil systems include,above all,asphaltenes and resins,whose structures concentrate most of the heteroatoms contained in crude oils.Moreover,asphaltenes rank among concentrates of oil paramagnetics [2] because of a fairly high content(ca.10~(19)spin)of stable free radicals.Some metal ions entering into the composition of the macromolecular components of oil exhibit paramagnetism(V~(4+),Fe~(3+),Mn~(2+)).
