On Standard and Field Tests of 1150-kV AC and 1500-kVDC Equipment at a High-Powered Network Test Stand in Togliatti

摘要

The designs of 1150-kV AC and 1500-kV DC test facilities are described, and characteristics of the test equipment and the range of standard and field tests are presented. Analysis of the test results confirmed the operational reliability of transmission lines being built. The necessity of creating new network testing stands is shown, and recommendations for improvements in their design are made.
