摘要

There will be a high demand in the future of helicopter technicians with excellent and continuing upgrading of skills in all the latest technologies. The survey indicates that the availability of technicians with these capabilities is bleak. An analysis of returned surveys has demonstrated the lack of exposure during training, and the lack of equipment in the training environment, the lack of contacts-whether it is through internships, tours, or just having a representative go to the schools to give a face to the helicopter industry. With no internships, or contacts, the students are unaware that they could indeed have a career in the helicopter maintenance industry.
