INTRINSIC MAGNETIC ANISOTROPY IN AMORPHOUS GLASS-COVERED MAGNETIC WIRES

摘要

In this paper we report the results of our studies on the magnetic anisotropy of amorphous glass-covered metallic wires from three important classes related to their potential applications: amorphous glass-covered metallic wires with positive, negative, and nearly zero magnetostriction, having the compositions Fe_77.5Si_7.5B_15, Co_80Si_10B_10, and Co_68.15Fe_4.35Si_12.5B_15 respectively.
