摘要

The utilization of the lattice cell model made possible the establishment of a formula, through which the dependence of the ultrasonic propagation velocity upon the intermolecular equilibrium distance and the molecular diameter is expressed. On the basis of this model, the Rao's and Wada's expressions were deduced, establishing the physical signification of the velocity and compressibility exponents from the mentioned relations. The experimental verification of the relations has been made in the case of the N, N dimethylformamide-benzene and N, N dimethylformamide-carbon tetrachloride Mixtures at different concentrations and temperatures.
