摘要

The paper is based on the experience gathered from the installation and operation of a photovoltaic (PV) system at Valahia University of Targoviste funded from European Commission R&D programs. PV system incorporates both Polycrystalline Silicon (Poly-Si) and CuInSe_2 (CIS) PV modules, with a total installed capacity of 10 kW peak, thus being one of the largest PV systems in Balkan area. The purpose of this paper is to show the importance of on-site characterization and comparison of different types of photovoltaic modules. A portable, cost effective and high-precision data acquisition equipment has been designed and implemented for PV modules Ⅰ-Ⅴ characterization and monitoring.
