ON THE ELECTRICAL RESISTIVITY OF ALUMINUM MATRIX COMPOSITES MATERIALS

The electrical resistivity of aluminum matrix composites with different sorts and fractions of ceramic particles, is experimentally studied. For the analyzed composites materials one obtains low deviations from the usual linear temperature dependence. The width of the gap energy and the fraction of particles essentially influence the linear variation coefficient with the temperature of the electrical resistivity.
