Communications in Construction

Communication is a basic human drive. Ever since two humans first shared plan-et Earth, people have been trying to get others to understand what is on their minds. Grunts, groans and gestures evolved into spoken language. Picture language developed to help convey a thought. Pictographs evolved into an alphabet and eventually a written language. Even though early humankind could communicate "up close" this wasn't enough. They wanted to get their thoughts and messages out to others. Yelling helped but didn't expand the distance enough to have any real value. Efforts to reach out resulted in the development of drums and a drum language that could carry a message across miles. Technology continued to expand our abilities and capabilities and increased the desire to reach out beyond the limits of drum talk. The invention of the telephone, telegraph, radio, and television forever changed the course and direction of humankind. These technologies opened the door to limitless communications.
