The handsome green mixer and dump trucks of Holroyd Co. Inc. are familiar sights on the local roadways around Tacoma, Wash., hauling aggregates from the company's long-running sand-and-gravel operation at Nisqually or concrete from various Holroyd batch plants to job sites throughout the area. But this spring the green trucks have been joined by two new McNeilus mixers painted bright gold in celebration of the company's century of service to its customers.
