Carmeuse Teams Compete in Mine Rescue Competition

Four teams from Carmeuse took part in the 2018 Metal/Nonmetal National Mine Rescue Competition at the Heritage Center in Lexington, Ky. The event featured more than 32 teams across the United States. Teams representing Carmeuse included the Black River Bandits, Georgia Team Thunder, Luttrell Rangers and Maysville Raiders. In the contest, Dan Mero and Heath Gulley placed first in Technician Team Bio-Marine BioPak 240 and first place overall in the Technician Team Individual category. Anthony Payne, Dan Mero, Terry Highfield and Ren Ramer all had perfect scores on the field test.
