Two new fifth-wheel coupling systems

Fontaine, manufacturer of pressed steel and cast fifth-wheels, is launching two new coupling systems at the CV Show on stand 3C80. The first is a sensor-operated fifth-wheel designed to alert the driver in the event of a safety clip or handle displacement after coupling. It works using a system of lights displaying the coupling process. For example, once the king pin sensor detects the king pin during coupling, both an amber and red light will illuminate continuously and remain lit until the correct coupling is completed.
