Waste Management Group :Helping to fight illegal dumping

The drive to tackle the issue of illegal waste dumping was among topics discussed in a recent Waste Management Group meeting. The event, which took place at Notts County Football Club, also included a site visit to Wastecycle, to observe the processing of waste items on the factory floor With regards to illegal waste, Peter Rutherford and Michael Walters from the Environment Agency gave a presentation at the meeting informing waste transporters of their duty of care in the area.
