Training up new truck drivers is currently this industry's number one priority. Of course, there are a multitude of good, dedicated licence acquisition training providers across the UK. But interestingly, while all of the truck manufacturers offer branded, Driver CPC periodic training, only Scania has its own driving school. Offering B+E and category D (large passenger carrying vehicles) training, its core offering is category C and C+E licence acquisition. Scania's driving school is part of Scania Driver Services. This arm of its UK business encompasses Scania Fleet Management Services (telematics) and a full range of training courses.
