Goodyear's successful contribution to the Mercedes-Benz Efficiency Run 2015 has proved that optimizing operations is a task to be achieved through focussing not just on the engine, but on the vehicle as a whole. Goodyear's rolling resistance optimized Fuelmax tyres on trucks taking part in the Mercedes-Benz efficiency tests contributed to a reduction in fuel consumption of between 12% and 14%, and a resulting reduction in CO2 emissions.
