SNAP delivers care packs to trucking legends

SNAP delivered more than 100 care packages in its Trucking Legends campaign during May. The campaign celebrated HGV drivers who have gone above and beyond during the COVID-19 pandemic. The industry nominated Trucking Legends via SNAP'S website and Facebook page giving them the chance to win a care package and a free week of SNAP parking as a thank you for their efforts. Nominations, says SNAP, followed a theme of drivers and office staff putting in extra time and effort to meet high demand. The delivery of goods and services to supermarkets, hospitals and pharmacies has supported key workers and the availability of essential supplies throughout the crisis. Nominations for employers have also been submitted, where employees have been provided with PPE and other support.
