Trucker suffers broken leg in lay-by attack

In an horrific attack in the early hours of 9 March a driver suffered a broken leg after being dragged from his cab by a gang of around seven men while parked in a lay-by on the A422. The thieves slashed the lorry's curtain before loading its goods into a van. The Thames Valley Police issued an appeal for information which the Association forwarded to members via social media.
