CAZ - Don't demonise us for delivering the goods

As we enter the autumn many businesses are looking towards supplying goods for Christmas. This always brings challenges and this year will be no different. The growth of online shopping and delivery direct to homes and the demise of the high street are just one of those challenges. The increased cost of derv and the ever-increasing shortage of drivers makes meeting our customers' needs an increasing problem for our members. While the continuing uncertainties of Brexit, and the fall in the value of the Pound against the Euro does not help retain the pool of East European labour that many of us have relied upon, there are other factors that do not help us in addressing this issue.
