A five-section steel telescopic boom is the centerpiece of the 45127R BoomTruck, the newest 45-ton-capacity truck from Elliott. The boom ranges from 34 ft 5 in. retracted to 127 ft extended, with an optional two-piece telescopic jib that adds 32 to 55 ft; customers also can choose a 105-ft or 142-ft boom. Lifting is aided by the two-speed hydraulic winch. Operators can choose from full hydraulic or electric/hydraulic control configurations.
