Forschung und Entwicklung im Betonstraßenbau von 2009 bis 2011

Die Arbeitsgruppe 8 „Betonbauweisen" besteht derzeit aus 5 Arbeitsausschüssen mit insgesamt 8 Arbeitskreisen. Wie auch in den Jahren zuvor waren die Themenbereiche Alkali-Kieselsäure-Reaktion und Oberflächeneigenschaften dominierend. Während die Aktivitäten im Bereich AKR sich auf die weitere Vervollkommnung der Präventionsmaßnahmen konzentrierten, waren Arbeitsschwerpunkte im Bereich Oberflächen nach wie vor die Bereiche Griffigkeit und Lärm in Verbindung mit der Waschbetonoberfläche. Neben Forschungsvorhaben, die sich mit diesen Themengebieten befassten, konnte insbesondere im Verlauf der beiden zurückliegenden Jahre eine ganze Reihe neuer Forschungsprojekte angeschoben und fortgeführt werden, die sich mit Themen wie White Topping, frühhochfeste Reparaturbetone für Waschbetonoberflächen, Stadt- und Landstraße, Kreisverkehre usw. befassen. Nicht unerwähnt bleiben soll die Arbeit am bestehenden und neu zu bearbeitenden Vorschriftenwerk. Stellvertretend seien an dieser Stelle die Veröffentlichung derTP Beton-StB 10, das Merkblatt M OB, die Empfehlungen für die Abwicklung von Bauverträgen bei Anwendung der RDO Beton und die Bearbeitung der ZTV, TL und TP Fug-StB genannt.%Working Group 8 on "concrete pavements" currently has five committees and a total of eight task groups. As in previous years, two themes dominated the work of this group, namely alkaline silica reactivity (ASR) and surface properties. While activities in the field of ASR focused on the fine-tuning of preventative measures, the focus of the work on surfaces remained on the themes of skid resistance and noise in conjunction with exposed-aggregate concrete. In addition to research projects focussing on these themes, a whole series of new research projects was initiated and continued in the course of the past year. These projects focused on themes such as white topping, high early strength concrete for repairing exposed-aggregate concrete, urban roads and rural roads, roundabouts etc. The work on new and existing standards and specifications is also worth a mention, especially the publication of the technical test regulations TP Beton-StB 10, the information sheet M OB, the recommendations for construction contracts when applying RDO Beton, and the drafting of the additional technical terms of contract (ZTV), technical terms of delivery (TL), and technical test regulations (TP) on joints: ZTV, TL and TP Fug-StB.
