Despite a rash of new structures in the last few years, Kew Gardens still feels its visitors don't make the most of its attractions. A plan by Wilkinson Eyre prepared the ground; now Gross.Max is poised to make it bear fruit. This summer, London's Kew Gardens will unveil a new landscape strategy for its 132ha grounds by Gross.Max. It's certainly long overdue. Wilkinson Eyre devised a site masterplan in 2002 but it's been 170 years since the last thorough look at its magnificent landscape, when William Andrews Nesfield reworked Kew amid the great Victorian revival of the gardens.
