The riba is seeking entries for the 2011 President's Awards for Research. This scheme rewards and encourages outstanding research in architecture by PhD students, academics and practitioners. The awards promote high-quality research and encourage its dissemination and incorporation into the knowledge base of the profession. They help to raise the profile of practitioners and academics engaged in outstanding research, and raise awareness of the need for research across the profession to foster innovation and strategic thinking. Awards are given in three categories: PhD, university and practice-located research.
