It's like a boris bus - nothing for ages and then three turn up at once. Architecture has been hit with no less than three flurries of political activity this month. After the UK's almost somatic state of bliss during the Olympics, maybe the government was goaded into action by the spectators' boos for Cameron and Osborne during their Paralympic medal-giving.
