The One Stop Shop: Chemical Causes and Cures for Cancer

Cancer is the second most common cause of death in the United States (US) and ranks above heart disease as the leading cause of disease death in people aged 15-24. Breast cancer /1/ and prostate cancer /2/ are the second most common cancers and second most common causes of cancer death in women and men, respectively. Further, there are racial/ethnic disparities in cancer incidences and death rates: African American women have a lower incidence, but higher death rate from breast cancer /3/, and African American men have both a higher incidence and higher death rate from prostate cancer /4/.
