The long and strenuous road of hybrid technology development, as well as some key challenges for the future needs have been outlined. How this, and other key developments will continue to grow in today's society is not just up to functionality, but also how well they will adapt to a new social framework of growing concern for sustainable development.rnIn this context, I propose hybrid technology as a broad platform for introducing new power train systems as advances in alternative energy supply gradually will make these new systems available for mass market penetration.
