The Antimicrobial Activity Test on Luffa Sponge and Its Antifungal Finishing

The antimicrobial properties of natural luffa sponge were tested by flask shaking method, and test results showed: luffa sponge fiber didn't have antimicrobial effects to fungi including Trichophyton rubrum and Candida albicans, and bacterial referring to Staphylococcus aureus. In order to endow the luffa sponge with antifungal properties, antifungal finishing on luffa sponge fibers were conducted, and the performance of the treated fibers were measured. As shown in the results, fibers treated by organic antifungal agent showed that the resistance to Trichophyton rubrum was 92.46% and 88.55% to Candida albicans after finishing. In addition, antifungal agent was successfully loaded on sponge fiber, which rendered luffa sponge high antifungal activity.%用摇瓶方法对天然丝瓜海绵的抗菌性能进行了测试．试验结果表明:丝瓜海绵纤 维没有对包括红色毛癣菌和白色念珠菌，金黄色葡萄球菌的真菌有抗菌效果。为了赋予的丝瓜海绵，抗真菌特性，丝瓜海绵纤维进行抗真菌整理，处理过的纤维 的性能进行测定。所示结果表明，由有机杀真菌剂处理的纤维,红色毛癣 菌的阻力为92.46%和88.55%白色念珠菌。此外，抗真菌剂成功装上海绵纤 维，也使丝瓜海绵具有高抗真菌活性。
