Strategic approaches for Smart Village Implementation in India

A Smart Village is a number of services implemented effectively to the village residents and businesses in an efficient manner. The services including agriculture, construction, electricity, heath care, water, retail, manufacturing and logistics are needed in building a smart village. Information technology will play a major role for design, delivery and monitoring of these services in the village. All the latest techniques and principles needed to build a smart village are established now and some of them are being used in villages of India. This paper reveals an overview on strategies of smart village implementation in India, the present Indian scenario and situations demanding for the need of smart villages. The various procedures and strategies that are to be adopted in building up smart villages, the barriers that may consider during the process and some suggestions through which the problems can be overcome are discussed in this presentation.
