The process disclosed herein refers to a method for preparation of various sals of brexpiprazole. Brexpiprazole is a typical antipsychotic drug, chemically designated as 7-14-14-(1-benzothiophen-4-yl)piperazin-l-yl]b and is being marketed for the treatment of major depressive disorder and schizophrenia. Its chemical structure is represented by the following Formula I.
