A Noise Source Detector for Squeaking or Rattling Issues of Printers

To deal with customers' complaints about the annoyance caused by some printers, the traditional solution for the technicians was to diagnose the noise source and replace the related broken parts on sites. A robust detector was developed and tested to be embedded in printers for identifying and reporting the parts that are generating squeaking or rattling noises, by which the efficiency and the cost of after-sale service has been optimized.
