This invention provide an approach of using air to deflect incoming air flow and reduces the chance of the exterior camera surface damage caused by objects hitting the surface. The same air source can be used to deploy a mechanical cleaning setup as well. By reducing/avoiding the camera damage/contamination severity, this invention provides an extended camera life and reliable signal.
