Impedance adapted FFC cable for high speed signal transmission

When transmitting high frequency signals it is important to have an impedance controlled path. This is a known concept that is controlled and carefully designed at high speed PCB's. The driver has a controlled output impedance, and the correct termination must be placed at the receptor side to avoid reflections. But to a have a correct transmission, the channel must also have the correct impedance.
