The present invention provides a high voltage connection assembly 1 consist of three sections, including rod section 2, transition section 3 and busbar section 4. The rod section 2 contain a blind end for bolting joint to provide electrical path, a double groove for O-ring to provide wet-to-dry sealing, a hollow structure under threads to save mass. There are feature on surface to create more surface area for cooling, including groove, dimple and fin. There is also insertion feature to avoid damaging the O-ring, including lead-in chamfer, round edge. The transition section 3 connect rod section and busbar section. There is hollow structure in transition section to reduce mass and various anti-rotation feature to reduce stress in the over mold plastic, like groove or slot.
