摘要

The present publication provides a mechanism to utilize a Digital Car Key (DCK) authorization mechanism to unlock and load the correct use profile from an Android (or any other) Infotainment system (IVI) when the DCK and the IVI are different logical ECUs. Is a key that can be loaed to a mobile device and eliminates the need for physical car keys or a key fob. A vehicle could contain a module (a.k.a DCK ECU) that will communicate with a phone to pass secure information over a transport meduim such as NFC, BLE, and/or UWB. The details of how the IVI shall be Bluetooth BR/EDR bonded using the DCK pre-bonded BLE link are out of scope from this publication. An assumption is made that the secure authorization and ranging information from the DCK module shall be extended to the IVI module over a different medium in the vehicle such as the CAN bus, Ethernet, etc... The ranging and authorization information shall be used for ranging and authorization for user access to the IVI system.
